This hood replaces the OEM aluminium hood. Made with high quality dry carbon fiber, this hood weighs around 2.5 KG (5.5 Pounds) against 9 Kg (19.5 Pounds) for the OEM one!

The structure is entirely made with carbon fiber for maximum strength.
